Album ini mula dipasarkan lewat September lalu. Kelebihan yang paling ketara untuk album ini ialah konsep pemasaran yang mana album dipasarkan terlebih dahulu sebelum diperkenalkan kepada sidang media begitu juga dari segi produksinya.
Susunan muzik di dalam album ini seakan-akan membawa kita seperti menghayati konsert sama ada di Istana Budaya mahupun di Dewan Filharmonik KLCC. Sangat menarik. Bayangkan sekiranya Anuar membuat konsert sebegini.
Mengekalkan konsep seperti album sebelumnya, yang mana 80% komposer yang terlibat adalah kebanyakan komposer
dari negara jiran, Indonesia. Yang kita sedia maklum, Anuar merupakan seorang yang"perfectionist". Mungkin lagu-lagu gubahan komposer luar lebih sesuai dengan vokal dan juga citarasanya.
Lagu 1 "Ku Berjanji Karna Cinta"
Salah
satu lagu kegemaran saya. Lagu ini sangat menyentuh jiwa. Melodi dan
lirik yang cukup indah dan vokal Anuar bagi saya sangat relaks dan penuh
penjiwaan.
Lagu 2 "Nadi Terhenti"
Bagi
saya, gubahan anak tempatan Aylwin Santiago ini dan lirik oleh Tinta
kedengaran biasa sahaja. Akan tetapi, melodinya agak menarik untuk
didengar.
Lagu 3 "Ajari Aku"
Lagu
ini merupakan ciptaan sepenuhnya Adrian Martadinata. Apa yang menarik
tentang lagu ini ialah mungkin dari segi susunan muzik. Kita tak
menyangka yang susunan muziknya akan sebegitu. Sangat menarik. Salah
satu lagu kegemaran saya.
Lagu 4 "Pernahkah"
Lagu ini kolaborasi diantara Jimmy Sogalrey dan Ari Bias. Melodi yang mudah dan bersahaja tetapi sedap didengar.
Lagu 5 "Simpati Cintamu"
Lagu ciptaan anak tempatan, Hazami. Melodinya mempunyai kelainan. Saya rasa inilah kali pertama Anuar menyanyikan lagu yang sebegini.
Lagu 6 "Sempurnakan Aku"
Lagu sentuhan sepenuhnya oleh Numata. Anuar
mungkin sudah biasa dengan pencipta ini kerana beliaulah yang telah
mencipta lagu yang sangat popular di dalam album Anuar yang terdahulu
iaitu "Lelaki Ini" dan juga "Ketulusan Hati" (my all time favourite
song). Melodinya sangat menyenangkan hati dan sekiranya didengari pada waktu malam, akan terbuailah perasaan.Paduan vokal Anuar dan backup vocal, Uci Nurul dipertengahan lagu cukup serasi.
Lagu 7 'Terindah"
Pencipta lagu adalah Nico Ajie Bandy. Lagu ini cukup sedap didengar. Melodi yang ada nada rendah dan nada tinggi amat sesuai dengan vokal Anuar.
Lagu 8 "Cinta Harus Memiliki"
Satu lagi lagu ciptaan Numata, melodi dan liriknya cukup melankolik. Amatlah bersesuaian lagu ini dijadikan penutup album
ini. Khas untuk
mereka yang putus cinta, anda akan dibuai perasaan tatkala mendengar lagu ini.
Keseluruhannya,
album ini benar-benar menonjolkan identiti Anuar sebagai penyanyi
balada. Album ini juga menunjukkan peningkatan yang agak baik dari segi
vokalnya.
Saya
juga berharap yang Anuar dapat memuatkan lagu popular yang dinyanyikan
bagi OST Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa, iaitu "Sedetik Lebih" untuk
dimuatkan di dalam album ini. Ternyata sangkaan saya meleset sama
sekali.
Secara peribadi, saya agak terkilan kerana lagu-lagu yang dimuatkan
boleh dikatakan semuanya berunsur balada. Tidak seperti albumnya yang
terdahulu yang memuatkan satu atau dua buah lagu yang rancak, bagi
mengimbangkan halwa telinga pendengar. Sehingga kini, saya masih
merasakan bahawa album "Lelaki Ini" itulah album terbaik daripada Anuar
Zain.
Album terbaru Anuar Zain berjudul Anuar Zain 2011 kini berada di pasaran sekarang... yeay ...
Taktik pemasaran yang agak berlainan daripada biasa. Biasanya penyanyi itu akan mengadakan sidang akhbar dalam mempromosikan album terbaru sebelum dipasarkan. Kali ini Anuar memasarkan album tanpa pengetahuan media... cuma dihebahkan di laman sesawangnya www.anuarzain.com

The food was okay and I love the table decoration.. very nice and romantic :) .... love the fresh flowers and the bread was delicious...
The show hosted by our local popular comedian Dee. He always makes jokes and the jokes were funny .. then all of us were entertained with saxophonist En. Alif Nasir, belted out tunes such as Anuar Zain's Keabadian Cinta etc. After that a stylish fashion show "Marrie Show" from local talent designer Sabri Saad was shown. The collection was made from batik.
Then the major event .. Ramli Sarip sung more than 10 songs that day .. he belted out his hits tunes such as Jangan Tunggu Lama-lama, Teratai, Kamelia, Jikalau Berkasih, Istilah Bercinta, Bukan Kerna Nama, You're So Beautiful to name a few..
He even went down the stage and chose two women to sing along with him for the number Doa Buat Kekasih .. song he duet with Khatijah Ibrahim...
In one recent media interview for this event he mentioned how secretaries were the real bosses. He said the event’s theme was The boss, she’s the boss, with inspiration taken from songs by Bruce Springsteen and Mick Jagger.
“I hold women with much respect and admiration, so the songs are dedicated to them,” he added.
“When you listen to the lyrics of the songs, you will cry as they are classics, so be prepared with tissues,” he joked.
The sound system was good (despite few glitches here and there) as if I was in a concert hahaha ... and with the help from experienced musicians as Man Kidal and others .... overall Ramli Sarip still has umpphhh with that powerful husky, soul, rock voice .. no wonder he is still our Papa Rock Malaysia even though he'll be 60 next year ..

Anuar Zain ... one of the most famous male singers in Malaysia ... I loveeeeeee most of his songs ... On the 6th April, my friend had the pleasure of watching his showcase for Secretaries Week. Her table made that name especially for Anuar... He sang around 11 songs i.e Sedetik Lebih, Lelaki Ini, Ku Berjanji Kerna Cinta to name a few... The emcee for that day is none other than Fahrin Ahmad .... She managed to capture these pictures .. Enjoy (I sure enjoyed them hahaha ..)
On 6th April, I went to Diva Las Vegas Showcase at Shah Alam Convention Centre, Shah Alam, Selangor.... The showcase emceed by our local comedian Zizan and young new actress Juliana Evans .. and we were entertained by Noryn Aziz and Anita Sarawak ...
I know that Zizan is a very good comedian but somehow or rather he's kinda restricted .. I mean not enough jokes to attract the audience .. As for Juliana Evans, I think she needs more experience being an emcee .. well she did messed up telling the audience it was night but the event was in a broad daylight ..
Superb vocal performance from Noryn Aziz .. With bluesy, soul and R&B voice she had... I did stop eating a bit and watched her performance .. She sang few songs namely I Will Survive, Fame, She Work Hard for the Money and her songs such as Di Dadaku Ada Kamu, Kesungguhan Cinta ... She ended her performance with a powerful performance of That's What Friends are For ....
The Diva makes her entrance with a number We Will Rock You ... and then she entertained us with Bercanda Di Pasiran Pantai ( I love this song...), New York New York, Copacabana, Seksis, Big Spender to name a few ... Anita Sarawak as usual were energetic, powerful voice and entertaining ... I find her nowadays more interaction with audiences.. many times she went down from stage and sing from table to table .. It was a nice gesture from her to greet her fans like that .. On top of that she invited 3 of the guests to act as her and there was some impromptu Q & A .. and we saw Mahadzir (her husband) involved in the Q & A as well .. It was funny and enjoyable to say the least .. also they won some prizes which the winner gets furniture sponsored by Empire Gallery .. One lucky guest won the RM60,000 pearl necklace ..
Overall .. the food was okay ... for the first time I ate salmon and it tasted okay .. but the combination for the main course were for me a little bit off .. the dessert though were delicious :)

This film has been screened here in Malaysia since 10th March. I haven't get the chance to watch it but from what I've heard this film has good reviews... worth watching :)

Plot outline
Based loosely on the 16th century historical document entitled ‘The Malay Annals’, ‘Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa’ is an action-packed epic adventure, with mythical characters, magical moments and dazzling visual-effects sequences. Merong Mahawangsa was a descendant of Alexander the Great, a renowned naval captain and traveller who came to Asia several hundred years ago.
The year is 120 AD… a time when the Roman Empire is at the height of its power, during the reign of Hadrian – one of the Five Good Emperors. Meanwhile in China, the Han Dynasty is firmly cemented as the ruling empire and is expanding into Central Asia… one hundred years before the period of the Three Kingdoms. As the Roman fleet did their repairs and traded in Goa, they asked Merong Mahawangsa to escort a Roman prince to Southeast Asia, to wed a beautiful Chinese princess from the Han Dynasty. The Chinese princess and the Roman prince are supposed to meet halfway and be married on neutral grounds.
However, the pirate nation of Geruda had other plans. They decided to kidnap the Chinese princess and use her as ransom. En route to the Straits of Melaka, Merong Mahawangsa’s fleet was attacked by Geruda’s forces while stopping at a small island to replenish supplies.
Will Merong Mahawangsa be able to rescue the Princess and re-unite her with her betrothed in a marriage that is set to bring together two great civilizations from the East and West ?
