Maher Zain? Who is this Maher Zain? What is so special about him? Well in my opinion .. he's just an ordinary guy with a great talent. I had the chance to watch his showcase (after waiting for more than a month to get the tickets ..) oh btw, 2 tickets are free courtesy of my dear fren in which he said for my early bday present ... thank you .. you know who you are :)
This is my ticket woohoo :)
Actually I booked 4 tickets to watch the showcase on the 15th October but I get to watch it on 14th instead. Oh well as long as I can watch that's fine with me. My sister, my two nephews and myself arrived at 8.15 pm (thinking we're late .. oh no..) showed the usherette our tickets and we being ushered to our seats. It turns out that someone already sat on our places ... hmm ..
We've been ushered back to the main hall and the organizers tried to solve our problem. It turns out there are other people outside who has the same problem. The organizers accidentally made double booking on the same tickets but my name was in the list. It's almost showtime (almost 9 pm at that time) so what the organizers did was exchanged my tickets with RM70 tickets and they would refund the balance to me. At first my sister is kinda mad and refused to take the offer because she wanted to be seated at the RM 100 seats (the ones that we bought), considered better view and near to the stage.. but then that's the only option we had ... so we took it.
We came in when In-Team were performing at that time. They performed two songs. Very nice :)

Next performer, Aishah .. yes .. what a lovely dress or should I say kinda jubah she wore that night .. purple colour my fav :) .... She performed two songs and one doa / zikir - from a child to their parents .. It's such a beautiful doa / zikir that I had tears in my eyes .. kinda makes me want to go and give a big hug to my parents ... I love you ma n abah soooooooooo much .....

The emcees for tonight are none other than sis Wardina Saffiyah and bro Fedthri Yahya. Sis Wardina looked so excited to be there .. haha ...they did requested for all to off their camera flashes if they want to take pictures because it might interrupting the audiences and most importantly bro Maher's performance ..

After the emcees announced that Maher Zain will perform next .. the crowd suddenly clapped and camera were clicking here and there ... song were playing and I instantly recognized the song .. It's Allahi Allah Kiya Karo (my sister Habsah's favourite song) .... but bro Maher is nowhere to be found ... and finally he showed up from the left side of the stage (in which I was seating hehe..) and started singing .. the crowd sings as well .. typical Malaysians .. whenever I'm in a concert they would sing their lungs out and sometimes it's a bit annoying because we paid quite a lot of money wanting to hear the singer sings not the other person sitting next to you.. am I right? hehehe ...

Next song is Ya Nabi Salam Alaika .. when the chorus part bro Maher encouraged all to sing with him meaning give salawat to our beloved Prophet Muhammad saw .. Third song would be Always Be There ... some of the lyrics ....

Next song .. Barakallah huma ... and the crowd were like cheering loudly, singing with him again hehehe ... He even went down the stage and u guess it crowd going crazy with some of the people went in front and taking pictures.. I'm singing quietly because some of the songs I did record (eventhough it clearly stated that any recording is prohibited) yeah I like breaking rules so sue me hehehe ... after that bro Maher said thank you and he went off stage ... I was like wait a minute .. it's that all .. I thought he's going to sing 8 songs .. but I'm counting (yes I'm counting) it's only been 7 .. hmm ...
Then bro Maher shouted "do you want more .. I can't hear you.." the crowd cheered his name Maher Zain over and over ... until he went back and said MasyaAllah ...
He mentioned that this is going to be his last song .. and he asked to guess which song is it.. and of course we guess it right .. It's InsyaAllah :)
So that's the end of it. We went back early .. didn't get the chance to see him in person since there's no meet and greet fans session that night. I felt so satisfied with the showcase .. despite the chaos (with all the seatings confusion..), bro Maher gave his all out performance .. thank you .. Alhamdulillah :)
So what about Maher Zain ... he is just an ordinary guy but he has a great talent, good presence and his songs were beautiful, his lyrics really touched me and made me think that whatever things that I do, feel, touch, ... whether I'm feeling happy, sad, mad, tense, ...it all goes back to Allah .. without Allah I am nothing .... Alhamdulillah .. Thank You Allah ...
